Wirral Learning Partnership Plans from September 2005

Communication date - 25th July 2005

Following the strategic review of Wirral Learning Partnership by Brophy McPaul the structure of the partnership will change.

The current sub groups and working groups will be replaced by action themes teams that focus on time limited activities with defined outcomes.

These action theme teams will be led by action theme champions, who will determine the priorities and plans for each theme.

Membership of the action teams will reflect the actions that are undertaken and will change depending on the planned actions.

The themes identified are Employability Skills, Adult Skills and Enterprise Skills.

A briefing event is planned for early October; date to be confirmed after the JAR is finished.

Meeting schedule for WLP Board will be distributed shortly once finalized.

Wirral Learning Community group will continue as at present.

14-19 curriculum sub-group will meet in September to agree the transfer of responsibilities; date to be confirmed.
